How to connect hand shower to sink faucet?

I know that there is a fitting that goes onto a kitchen faucet that connects a dishwasher hose, for portable dishwashers. I would check those out and see what kind of fitting is on the other end that connects to the dishwasher. You might find better luck with that.....................JJJ
