Is it normal to be tramatized by blood?

That sounds like quite a frightening ordeal there. I can't believe people would make fun of you regarding that incident. I would say feeling squeamish and unnerved is very normal especially after something like that. I'll remember what you said here if I ever have kids and somebody suggests their tonsils be removed.
