Water damage to iPod touch 2nd gen?

A few months ago, it slipped bottom edge first into the sink, which was not fillled with water, but there was a thin layer of water because the faucet was running. For awhile, I could see water splotches under the screen. Now, a few months later, I found it and tried to charge it with my wall charger. When I plugged it in, the startup screen was showing for a few hours, and in the morning, the only thing that didn't work was the touch screen and the on/off button. Water filter for hot water?

can I use a regular water filter to filter the hot water in my kitchen sink? Cats are pretty good at taking care of themselves, so as long as they have something to eat and drink they should be fine. My shower keeps shutting off when I turn it on?

When I turn my shower faucet on low pressure the shower works, but when I increase the pressure it shuts off. This only takes about a second, and has just recently started to happen. The bath faucet and sink both work. Anyone know how to fix it, or have any ideas?

You don't want to know, but I will say this, if the debt limit isn't increased come August, the U.S. will default for the first time in it's history. This will result in a global depression, the likes of which have never been seen. It will make what's happening in Greece look like a cakewalk. I agree, we are in sorry shape, and we have our greedy, corrupt politicians to thank for it, and the 2 wars that " W " got us into certainly didn't help. We do have to tighten our belts to say the least, and as it stands right now, we may never recover. Raising the debt ceiling will only make things much worse for us at home, but it has to be done. We need to take a long, hard look at the size of government, all the spending, all the foreign aid, taxes, social security, medicare...everything needs to be fixed and we can start by looking for honest politicians, if there is such a thing...you are right, it will be very painful and the pain will last a long time.

Hypocondriac problems. Help?

I am a terrible hypochondriac, and every now and then i fixate on some illness and stress to myself that I have it. Even though I know beyond logical doubt that not only do I not have it, the chances of getting it are insanely miniscule. Today I'm haunted by the human form of mad cow disease. No matter how I convince myself there's no way I have it, my mind just keeps thinking I have it and it terrifies me. I constantly smoke pot, but I don't know if this is causing my fear or not. Why are both the sink faucet and hose shooting?

One year old Whirlpool Frontload Washer problems?

Sounds like your problem is with the washer itself and most likely has nothing to do with the pipes. If the washer is only one year old, it is probably still under warranty. If it is still under warranty you need to call the company and have them get a service tec out and get it repaired before the warranty expires. Your best bet would be not to try and do anything to it because it would cause the warranty to be voided. I am not telling you not to advise the company of you putting vinegar in the machine, however I will say this. Usually anytime you try and do anything to or put anything into an appliance like a washer it will almost always void the warranty since it is something they probably do not recommend. Now, that being said, you will have to decide if you really want to advise them of the vinegar or anything else you might have done to it. As for the pipes, sounds like there are blockages and if so, all the pipes need to be cleaned out and flushed out. If not done you will most likely be calling them back to clean out another one which in turn will cost you a service charge each time they have to come out. It is possible the timer switch or whatever it is referred to now days is bad and not telling the machine to do what it is suppose to. That will have to be done by someone who knows out to test the circuit to see where the problem is.

There plenty bright and would work just as well with one off or one bulb unused and that light thats off could rotate to extend the bulbs lifespan. Also using auto sinks, paper towl dispensers and flushing toliets EVRYWHERE would REALLY help, in one or two places only helps so much but applying them everywhere would make a huge difference, also using low water flow faucets in homes and showers would help a TON!!!! I c water saving faucets in biusness buildings but NEVER in homes. Theres more hoems on earth than biusness buildings. Also a few more ideas are auto shut off lights in homes, etc... Also using a lot less highway lights would help because cars have lights and how much lights do we really need on highways? The last energy saving idea i had was to gradually reduce the sales of the old types of lightbulbs that arent the enerygy efficent ones, and to price the energy effeicent onces cheaper, if we did that i dare someone to try and tell me how its a bad idea. What dog should i get?

Well, I have a tibettan terrier. They are cut loyal and loving and a great family dog. Very friendly and family orientated, its so wierd as my dog kind of knows how I am feeling so if I am upset he sits by me and stuff, they are very caring. They are very intelligent dogs that are easy to train, also they get on brilliantly with other dogs. I strongly reccomend them, I love my dog and I'm sure you would love it it you got one haha :) Do some research on them to see if you like them. Also on google images and stuff most of them will be long haired, however we have ours cut short into a puppy cut this is easy to manage and cooler for them in summer etc :) Hope you like them! when i was trying to remove the tensioner assembly i guess i was turning the bolt the wrong way instead of loosing it i was making it tighter and since i was making tighter it snapped off. Okay so a few days ago, I was on xbox playing some gamebattles(Im in MLG which is where you play xbox on a team, you play a set of games then get payed,) and had my music BLARING. Anyways, she started the chat and I had no clue. So after about an hour, I get off xbox and check my iPod to find she left a message on my wall, "I hate you Jimmy! We're done and that's final!" I had replied to find out what I did wrong and she stated what's wrong(you know what she said,) then I proceeded to explain myself but she ignored me. Now heartbroken I desperatly try and beg for her, I love her to death and would risk my payroll, belongings even my life just for her. You can't even imagine how I felt! I got off, walk to her house and literally fell to my knees begging her on her doorstep to forget what happened and take me back. I may sound like a wimp but actually she's the reason I didn't kill myself last year, basically if I didn't have her, I'd be 6 feet deep right now. Anyways she then proceeded to spit on me, slam the door in my face then blocked me on Facebook. So basically, for the past few days I've been lying in my bed listening to depressing music, looking at her pics and contemplating suicide. Bathroom faucet gurgling noise?

All I did was change a clogged aerator on my very basic bathroom faucet. Now it makes a gurgling noise for a few seconds after you shut the water off. I tore the trap apart and nothing is clogged. Only thing I noticed was piece going thru floor to main drain pulls right out. (So did my kitchen sink but it didn't matter. I'm not sure but this MIGHT have started a day or 2 after changing the aerator. Reading forums on the net sounds like inadequate venting...but no other drain of any type has an issue. 3 month old STILL spitting up!!!?

My son has been spitting up after and between feeding since he was born. His pediatrician switched his formula to Enfamil A.R. He seemed to spit up less once I started the A.R. Two of my four cats have cat acne. One of them has a swollen lymph node on the right side of his neck. It is elongated and about the size of a quarter. I am absolutely serious about this. I don't know why they scare me, but they just do. If I have to go to the bathroom and I tell my mom, and we walk into the bathroom and I see it is an auto-flush toilet then I make up that I don't need to go anymore. They terrify me! Am I alone? Electric water Heater Smells Like It's Burning?

Yesterday while taking a shower, I noticed that I lost my hot water quicker than normal. I didn't really think anything of it, but later in the night realized I still didn't have any hot water. I inspected the rest of the faucets in the apartment, and no hot water to be found. I called maintenance this morning, and they came out and fixed it. They didn't tell me exactly what they did, but said that I should have hot water again in about half an hour. I went upstairs, and about 20 minutes after they left I began to smell something burning. I came down, and sure enough it was coming from the water heater, but I couldn't see any smoke and nothing felt hot-- just smelled like burning. I flipped the breaker switch to the heater and called maintenance back. They returned, said they couldn't find anything wrong, but changed the thermostat as it was the only thing they thought could be causing it. They left (leaving the 2 cover plates off for reasons i dont know, just said "don't put your fingers in there"), and now its about an hour and a half later, and I can still smell the burning. It's no worse than before, and again, no smoke, it just seems like it never went away from before. Should I be concerned about this, or is it just a residual burning smell from whatever caused it earlier in the day? At what point should I worry that I can still smell the burning?

And another time I was at college and I was getting ready to leave and everything and it was snowing out and I was walking out like I had been already perfect & ready and then I realized I forgot to get my coat out of the closet & so I got it & someone even said "wow what's wrong with you?" and I was thinking the same thing like wtf am I doing??? Like it's common sense to get your coat if it's in the building's closet!
